Just in case there are any naysayers out there that think Jenny is doing all the work, I submit this post.

Demolition begins in Master Bedroom
The process has begun this evening to remove the dry wall from the master bedroom. It took all of 30 minutes to completely fill the 96 gallon trash container in preparation for tomorrows trash pickup. Plenty more to come but happy to see the first wall coming down.
Its truly amazing how much satisfaction you can get from punching, kicking, and wielding a hammer with you wife. Too much fun seriously. Good thing the kids were around or things may have gotten out of hand. : )

3D Rending of the "TO-BE" farm house
House 1 Week after purchase
This the house after 1 week following the purchase. The grass has been mowed and house edged with the weed wacker to the best of my abilty since most of the grass was 2 feet high and was as high 5 feet in some areas. It was a very strange feeling to be driving a riding lawn mower with 5 foot of grass surrounding you in every direction. Talk about feeling small. What an amazing improvement cutting the grass can make.
The ugly railings have been torn down from the front stoop and the absolutley necessary American flag has been hung and flying proud in the open breeze.
More to come
Hahn Farm House Blog Created
I have created this Blog for tracking the progression on the new farm house we just purchased in southern Chesapeake. It is an older home built in 1930 that was solidly bulit is certainly outdated. We will be renovatting and improving the property and will track progress here as we go. Enjoy and thanks for taking the ride with us.
